Silos are prominent in the Texas Panhandle…and in our organizations. And though they are helpful for farmers, they are harmful in our organizations. Why do we create them? What can we do to build strong habits of collaboration instead?
Note: to get a sense of scale for the grain elevator in the background, notice the (full size!) locomotive at the base.
(Apologies: 1st, for the wind creating some background noise; this is spring in the Texas Panhandle; 2nd, for my squinty, almost-frowning expression; it was a bright afternoon here on the high plains when I recorded this.)
