As fall moves along, many companies are engaging in annual strategic planning discussions. A traditional part of that process is a situational analysis that examines strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats related to the company and its mission and vision. One of the challenging aspects of that discussion is dealing openly and honestly with weaknesses – the internal things that hamper our ability to accomplish our mission.
